Waterloo Sunset

Inserting a quick hello because this is the point where I’m actually telling people the site exists. This is a work in progress, but here’s what I have so far. It will be closer to the order I had in my head if you read from the bottom up, but it probably doesn’t matter all that much.

One day I was looking up Terry Reid videos on YouTube, as one does, and the results caused me to stop and think about how many musicians I’ve seen cover “Waterloo Sunset.” The number was impressive.

This song deserves a tribute album, I thought to myself. I don’t have the powers to make such a thing happen – but I did have the resources of the internet, some web skills, and a few hours to kill. And here we are!

If you have anything relevant you’d like me to include – audio, video, writing, you name it – please email sunset@fringehead.com. My intention is to have this thing fleshed out in the next week or two and let it exist as a shrine, but I’ll continue to add any materials that come along.
