I could either say it was random, or I could say I saved the menacing avatar especially for you. Which is more fun? (I’m kind of jealous of Parenthetical’s.)

This is actually WordPress; the blog that used to live here was MT, which a friend very kindly set up for me, but I kept running into tiny problems that made things No Fun.

And I think there’s some way you can upload your own avatar as a user, and these are defaults, but I haven’t figured it out yet. I’ll IM you when I do…

Can I just say I tried to do the Joomla! thing, and…it didn’t go well. It was weird and lame and I didn’t like it. No! Not one BIT!
